Optis S.A. promotes and support products and solutions targeted to Workgroup and Enterprise Computing environments, based on UNIX, Linux και Microsoft platforms.

The solutions provided by Optis S.A. take advantage of the most technologically advanced products and services, with focus on Storage Management, Backup, High Availability, Security, Network design and implementation for Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Voice over Frame Relay (VoFR) and Voice over ΙΡ (VoIP).

Based on technological advancements and constant monitoring of needs and requirements of Greek market of information technology, Optis S.A. constantly offers new solutions. In this frame Optis S.A. has focused in the following technological directions, in which it is activate with complete solutions and with the support of one complete suite of services:

RESEARCH - ANALYSIS - PLANNING

We analyze the data based on our customers needs and shape the best possible proposal. The proposed solutions allow coexistence of equipment of different top-rank vendors, are based on reliable products and provide the possibility of covering future needs.

INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE

Our company undertakes to install new and / or upgrade hardware and software of various manufacturers (as detailed below) with responsibility and consequence. The implementation of a project involves extensive trial of equipment and software aiming at the optimization of its efficiency.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Our company undertakes, on a case-by-case basis, the development of application software and the provision of accompanying services on a specific subject / entity (eg in the field of Justice).

STRUCTURED CABLING

Our company undertakes the design and installation of a structured cabling system.

TRAINING

In Optis S.A. we consider that education constitutes an important factor for highest exploitation of investment of customer. With training, new users get the know-how in new technologies smoothly, helping them to achieve correct operation of equipment and confrontation of daily problems.

MIGRATION

Our company provides the customer with the ability to upgrade both the software and its equipment while maintaining the functionality of its environment. In particular, upgrades of operating systems, databases, applications to newer versions (eg MS Windows, Solaris, Linux, Oracle), server upgrades (eg Exchange, SQL, Linux Mail server etc.) and migration on different platforms (eg from MS SQL to Oracle etc.).

It is also possible to transfer an old physical system (such as a server) to a new server as a Virtual Machine, releasing from its expensive maintenance due to age.

VIRTUALIZATION

Our company enables the customer to optimize the use of its equipment by installing virtual platforms on servers. Multiple virtual machines can be deployed on these platforms, making the most of the physical server capabilities. Using more than two servers in conjunction with a central storage system, can improve system availability and reduce unimpeded access to information. Also, the transfer of old systems into virtual machines can reduce the number of physical servers for greater savings in power consumption and cooling, easier management, and more.

AFTER-SALES SERVICES

Our company has a self-sufficient, fully equipped Technical Department, which is responsible for the maintenance – repair of the equipment, as well as the technical support of software and applications.

TELEPHONE SUPPORT

The support center provides responsible advice and instructions for dealing with easy problems in a simple and understandable way even for unskilled users.

REMOTE ΜΑΝΑGΕΜΕNT & ADMINISTRATION

Remote support, problem solving and monitoring through specialized software with specific configuration for each installation and with the possibility of creating proactive maintenance alerts. Access is secured by specific systems and skilled engineers.

ON-SITE SUPPORT

Specialized engineers of Optis S.A. make visits to the customer’s premises when necessary and in communication with the company’s HelP Desk, choose the best solution to solve the problem.

The problem and its solution are recorded in a service report that is signed by the customer and the engineers.

REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT

Replacing faulty equipment until completing the restoration work in order to keep customer’s services uninterrupted.
