DIGITAL SIGNATURE PROJECTS

PROJECT FOR ISSUING ADVANCED DIGITAL CERTIFICATES TO LAWYERS IN ATHENS AND THESSALONIKI

The specific work and the services produced are exclusively the work of e-government with the aim of serving the citizen, supporting the state in the exercise of its policy, limiting costs and more rationally managing and utilizing the available human and non-human resources of the Public Administration , the simplification and acceleration of the procedures for the awarding of Justice. The project concerns the acquisition of a digital signature by the Lawyers of Athens and Thessaloniki and consists of the supply, installation and support of “hard” storage Digital Certificates with the aim of organizing Electronic Justice. In particular, the scope of the project implemented by our Company consists of the following:

  • Development of an application for the submission of expression of interest requests for lawyers to obtain digital certificates

The main purpose of the application was to reduce the time required by a lawyer to obtain a digital signature. The initial process without the application provided for the sending of an electronic application (with many fields) by the lawyer to the HERMIS Portal to create the user, verify the existence of the user and the email (electronic mail) and a second application for obtaining a digital signature (with additional fields to fill in). With the developed application, the lawyer fills in the form on the DSA/DSTH website (almost all fields are completed from the data available in the DSA/DSTH Database) and the creation of the one and only application is simple. Also in this application, the lawyer states the desired day and time of receipt of the ID card (USB token) and the automated installation software, as well as the date of attending the training on digital signature and electronic document submission.

  • Development of application for digitization and archiving of supporting documents

The DSA/DSTH performs the duties of a Registration Authority for the Digital Signatures project. The supporting documents of each lawyer are handwritten by him (and kept by the DSA/DSTH), digitized and digitally signed by the authorized operators of the DSA/DSTH. For the high availability of the archives, the digitized documents are kept in two places in different buildings. The developed application stores and archives the supporting documents of the lawyers who acquire a digital signature in the DSA/DSTH database, so that they are available from the HERMIS Certification Authority. The transfer between the two points takes place through a secure encrypted channel (VPN Tunnel), while HERMIS access takes place through secure SFTP access.

  • Development of an application for the interconnection of the DSA/DSTH system and the system of the National Portal of Public Administration “ERMIS”

The purpose of the application is the mass creation of users in the HERMIS systems for the convenience of lawyers.
All the data present in the DSA/DSTH Database together with the data entered by the lawyer during his application for a digital signature are collected and sent in a secure manner to YAP (Informatics Development Service) where they are entered into the HERMIS database. Entering the necessary data into the HERMIS database requires the identification and completion of all fields that make a registration valid. For this reason, a study of the environment and the HERMIS database was carried out in collaboration with the YAP staff, recording the actions and procedures that must be followed when receiving the data of the lawyers from the DSA/DSTH. Thus, a set of applications was designed which are handled by the YAP staff for the mass input of users who have submitted a request to obtain a digital signature.
*It is noted that with this project an additional possibility was created in YAP, that of the mass import of users of any organization.

  • Development of software that facilitates the Lawyer in the installation and activation of the digital certificates, in the selection of Drivers depending on the version of the operating system, of the Web Browser used by the Lawyer as well as in the easy and automated management of the life cycle of tokens
  • Supply of 4000 GEMALTO IDClassic 340/ USB tokens together with the corresponding Middleware
  • Training of a sufficient number of Lawyers and Information Technology in matters of digital signatures, electronic filing of Pleadings, Monitoring of pleading flow, etc.

Also, our company is contractually bound to provide the following services in case it is desired:

  • Help Desk Services: The entire process of acquiring (as well as using) tokens and digital certificates will be supported during working hours that cover at least the period from 09:00 to 17:00
  • Support Services for new applications for the supply of new TINs
  • Services to Support changes, changes, deactivation, activation of digital signatures for all digital signature holders
  • Installation services of the hard storage digital certificate, by a specialized technician at the Lawyer’s office (On site) or by remote connection

The above services are offered for a period of 3 years.

SUPPLY OF TOKENS FOR THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND SPORTS

The specific work and the services produced are exclusively the work of e-government with the aim of serving the citizen, supporting the state in the exercise of its policy, limiting costs and more rationally managing and utilizing the available human and non-human resources of the Public Administration . The project concerns the acquisition of a digital signature by the Employees – Users of the Ministry of Defense and consists of the supply and support of “hard” storage Digital Certificates with the aim of organizing the Electronic Public Administration. In particular, the scope of the project implemented by our Company consists of the following:

  • Supply of 3,066 GEMALTO IDClassic 340/ USB tokens together with the corresponding Middleware
  • Development of software that facilitates the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the installation and activation of digital certificates, in the selection of Drivers depending on the version of the operating system, of the Web Browser used by the User as well as in the easy and automated management of the life cycle

Warranty services for a period of 3 years.
